Although we are targeting the German-speaking community in Frankfurt, two of our organizers are native English-speakers. We are very pleased to have our events reflect the diversity found in Frankfurt, a very international city.
As you may have noticed, the hand-made trend has found a large following here in Germany. The Etsy and Dawanda websites are very popular. Craft markets are being held in major cities and many people are finding joy in developing their hand-made creative art and appreciation when they share it with others.
After enjoying a very successful Creative Market in October 2011, Design am Main is excited to offer a new experience to people in the Frankfurt area: a Creative Day.
Below are a few details regarding this event on March 3, 2012 (10 - 5pm) at Ludwigstrasse 29, Frankfurt.
Kreativtag/Creative Day
Entrance fee 2€
For everyone who sews, knits, crochets, crafts....or who wants to learn! Bring your half-finished projects or come and discover new creative venues. Bring your sewing machine, knitting needles or craft paper. Spend a day exploring your creativeness with other people with similar interests in a comfortable atmosphere and with good food.
"Kreativa" courses for Adults and Kidskraft courses for children 4 years and up will be held at 11am and 3pm. Course are apporximately 30 minutes.
Kidskraft: Cloth decorated cards, wool ornaments, button making and more.
Course fee: 2€ (pro project)
